Ndi Oma Nwunekaihe,
It’s often said that the strength of a community is best seen in how it comes together to protect its own. And that’s exactly what we’ve witnessed with the successful construction of the much-needed speed breaker bumps on the Old Nsukka Road.
This stretch of road, a critical artery passing through our community, had become a hazard due to the reckless speeding of motorists. To ensure the safety of our people—young and old—the decision to install speed bumps at strategic locations was not just necessary but urgent. Today, we can proudly say that the bumps are in place, and our roads are much safer.
The People Who Made It Happen
This achievement wasn’t just about asphalt and engineering—it was about people. It was about unity, generosity, and a shared vision for a safer community. A heartfelt round of applause goes to the kind-hearted individuals whose donations made this possible.

Let’s give a standing ovation for Ebubedike, who not only supervised the construction but also invested significantly in the safety and well-being of our community.
A Community Milestone
The speed bumps were installed at four strategic locations, ensuring maximum impact and effectiveness. This isn’t just a victory for road safety; it’s a testament to what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose.
We are particularly grateful to our Chairman of Infrastructure, Ebubedike, for leading this initiative with vision and dedication. The Information and Mobilization Team also played a crucial role in ensuring the project’s success—your efforts haven’t gone unnoticed.
Looking Forward
This is more than just a construction project—it’s a symbol of progress and community spirit. As we continue to grow and face new challenges, let’s keep this spirit alive. Together, we can achieve even greater milestones.
Once again, D’kwan’ to all the donors and everyone involved in making this dream a reality. As we drive over these speed bumps, let’s remember the hard work, generosity, and collaboration that brought them into existence.
Here’s to a safer, stronger Nwunekaihe!
